An outstanding opportunity is available for a smart thinking Associate Planner to join one of the UK's largest independent planning consultancies!

The company client base, workload, and reputation have grown steadily over recent years and now require great people to join the team and continue the good work! Award-winning, established and respected, the consultancy has also opened up new offices this year to further its reach and client base.

My client is seeking an RTPI-qualified professional to join at Associate Planner level to work in a 100 strong business on Residential, Retail, Regeneration, Commercial & Industrial, Education, Infrastructure & Energy and Leisure projects.

The successful Planner will work with landowners, developers and investors on projects and policy issues. You will lead project teams, negotiate with local planning authorities and represent clients through site promotion, applications and appeals.

You will hold a planning degree or equivalent and be a chartered member of the RTPI. Ideally, you have at least six years' post-qualification experience, including the management of projects and a broad range of planning and development sector experience. You will be highly motivated, commercially astute and pro-active, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
