Job Details
Title: Senior Town Planner
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £30,000 to £36,000 + Full Benefits
Independent Planning Consultancy with its main office in Cheltenham requires an energetic Senior Town Planner who is RTPI Chartered. The successful candidate will play an active part in running the South West based planning projects as well as assisting the Office Manager in the running the office.
Key duties of the role:-
- Leading planning projects of all sizes, from inception through to completion. This will include liaising with other divisions of the business and the delegation of tasks to other members of the planning team.
- Project forecasting including monitoring project deadlines, costings and working closely with the client on all site developments.
- Working independently on planning applications, design and access statements whilst offering guidance to junior members of the team.
- Offer expert advice on the submission of tenders for new planning projects, including site assessments, boardroom presentations, whilst maintaining the interests of the client at all times.
You will have a minimum of 3 years’ post-MRTPI experience, a full UK driving licence and have a strong regional planning knowledge of the South West. Confident and passionate about Town Planning, you will hold exceptional negotiation and communicational skills as you will be liaising with a wide range of external contacts on a variety of planning matters.
