Job Details

I am recruiting for an Interim Senior/Principal Planning Policy Officer for a Council in the West Midlands on a 12 month contract. The role will be the lead officer within the department.

The role is offering a competitive hourly rate and will be OUTSIDE IR35! They can also potentially offer a condensed working week and up to two days home working. The role will involve:

  • Preparing Supplementary Planning Guidance
  • Preparing reports such as annual monitoring report and five year land supply
  • Briefing members on planning matters
  • Preliminary work on new Local Plan
  • Supporting preparation of Neighbourhood Plans
  • Acting as a consultee on planning applications
