Urban Designer

Our Council client have a high number of large scale housing developments that need design input, along with city centre developments on quite difficult sites where innovative design solutions are needed, and input into city centre redevelopment and public realm schemes. The Council are therefore looking for someone with UD experience who can work collaboratively alongside planning professionals, project managers and highway officers. In addition, there will be the need to input into policy creation, as they are in the process of updating our design guidance for residential development.

The role is part-time and a contract position.

The role is expected to last for 3 months, but may extend beyond.

The pay rate is negotiable, depending on experience.
