Title: Town Planner
Location: Fleet, Hampshire
Salary: £24,000 - £32,000
Experience level required: 2-3 years' experience in the Public or Private sector
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing, highly focussed consultancy who is looking to add an enthusiastic and capable Town Planner to their ranks.
This is a great time to be joining this organisation as they are working on a number of high profile projects and require first-class, innovative and motivated staff. They boast an enviable client list and are able to offer unparalleled opportunities, in a dynamic workplace, where achievements are rewarded and progress encouraged.
Based in Fleet you will be supporting senior members of the Team in preparing applications, appeals, development plan representations and planning appraisals.
You will be qualified to degree level in an appropriate town planning degree and will hold 2-3 years' experience either within a Planning Consultancy or in Local Government.
You will hold excellent communication skills, be able to manage your own workload and have a good understanding of relevant Planning legislation and guidance.
Presentation & public speaking skills are desirable but not essential. Part-time hours will also be considered for the position. (3 days minimum required)
The organisation are offering a very competitive salary of £24,000 - £32,000 and benefits package together with excellent career development opportunities.
