As a Town Planner, your role will be to provide high quality planning advice to public and private sector clients within a team of commercial and professional property experts.
The planning and development services includes:
- Strategic planning advice and development consultancy
- Identifying development opportunities & site acquisition
- Affordable Housing and Development Viability
- Structuring development agreements and disposal advice
- Development Agency
- Sale negotiation through to completion
- Major planning applications
- Advice on Build to Rent and PRS
- S106 Negotiations
- Planning and development appraisals
- Listed building and conservation advice
The ideal candidate will be able to show an understanding of client's needs on a range of projects in both the commercial, residential and not for profit sectors.
Duties will include but are not limited to; Attending meetings with clients/local planning authorities and other stakeholders; Attending site visits; Provision of professional advice (in writing and verbally) to clients; Research and analysis of relevant planning policy (National, Regional and Local); Assisting with submitting and monitoring planning applications and appeals, and ensuring their timely delivery.
You will be Chartered member of the RTPI will have at least 2-5 years experience across the private or public sectors
