Development Management Officer
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic person to join our well-resourced Development Management team at officer level. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required, as you will be dealing with Councillors, members of the public and planning agents on a daily basis. You will be dealing with a full range of smaller scale planning applications, and will be actively mentored and trained within a friendly and successful team.
We invest in our people, and we try to ensure that they have the opportunity to gain good quality practical experience that is required at the start of their professional planning career. This vacancy is a part time, permanent position of 19.5 hours per week.
The job is based at the Council offices in Thrapston. East Northamptonshire is a prosperous place with six towns and many beautiful villages set within very attractive countryside.
