Title: Town Planner

Location: Chester

Salary: £25,000 to £32,000 + Bonus + Bens

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a highly skilled multi-disciplinary consultancy who are seeking a Town Planner to join their award-winning company. Operating throughout the UK they are seeking an ambitious and personable Town Planner to assist with a number of key projects throughout Chester and beyond.

The duties will include:

• Promoting residential and mixed-use developments 

• Co-ordination of project teams and project management
• Conducting research and site appraisals on projects for our client base
• Preparation, submission and negotiation of planning applications

• Assist in the development of new business through networking

It is essential that the candidate holds solid planning experience, in particular working within the residential sector. A committed attitude and a keen eye for detail are a must, you will have the proven ability to maintain and develop client relationships.

To apply applicants will need to have a related degree or masters, be an RTPI member and have a minimum of 2 years’ Town Planning or similar commercial experience. You must have a good understanding of the planning process and ideally have a full driving license.
