<p style="text-align: justify;">This is a&nbsp;<strong>brand new opportunity</strong>&nbsp;for an experienced&nbsp;<em><strong>Associate Planner looking&nbsp;to step up to Director</strong></em>, or an&nbsp;<em><strong>existing Planning Director keen to take on a role where they can have more impact and have an equity stake</strong></em>.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">This is a&nbsp;<strong>leadership role,</strong>&nbsp;working alongside an existing Director, to&nbsp;<strong>manage a busy office near Coventry</strong>&nbsp;and support a growing team of capable Associates, Seniors, Planners and Graduates.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Projects are wide and varied in their scope, including significant developments within the&nbsp;<strong>residential</strong>&nbsp;sector,&nbsp;<strong>commercial</strong>&nbsp;planning and&nbsp;<strong>rural development</strong>&nbsp;schemes,&nbsp;<strong>strategic promotions</strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>planning for the public sector</strong>.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">It is essential that you have&nbsp;<strong>at least 10 years' experience</strong>&nbsp;and that you have&nbsp;<strong>spent recent time working in the east, south or west midlands markets.</strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Naturally the position will involve d<strong>elivering large-scale planning schemes</strong>, taking ultimate responsibility for the projects and the work of more junior consultants. It will also involve&nbsp;<strong>building close client relationships</strong>, maximising the potential of existing clients across the private and public sectors and developing new business through networking and promoting the consultancy at every opportunity. Therefore&nbsp;<em><strong>you should be able to demonstrate a recent history of significant projects (all sectors considered) and work-winning activity, including preparing and negotiating fee proposals with prospective clients</strong></em>.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">As a leader within the wider business,&nbsp;<strong>you will sit on the Board of Directors</strong>, sharing your expertise and helping to outline and shape the company’s vision for the future.&nbsp;<strong>You will be given an equity stake in the company</strong>&nbsp;(subject to meeting certain criteria) and earn&nbsp;<strong>generous bonuses</strong>&nbsp;as a result of your contribution to the company’s profits and its overall growth and success. Candidates from all backgrounds will need to show&nbsp;<strong>considerable commerciality and a natural flair for networking and negotiation</strong>.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Experience in managing projects and leading teams is essential</strong>, and any mentoring experience would also be valuable.
