Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-established Planning Consultancy in Cardiff who is looking to expand their team through the appointment of a Planner at Town Planner or Senior Planner level. Graduates with 2 + years experience are also encouraged to apply.

The company work on a range of exciting projects that fall into a number of sectors such as Leisure, Residential, Commercial, Education, Energy, and Healthcare.



The company provides the following services to its clients:

-Site search & appraisal (Identifying and assessing sites for new developments).

-Planning applications & appeals.

-Development plan monitoring & representations.

-Retail. Capacity and impact assessments, and provision of strategic advice.

-Urban regeneration (Advising on the delivery of major mixed use projects for developers and landowners).

-Environmental impact assessment.

-Development & design briefs.

-S.106 Negotiation.

-Community engagement.



Job requirements

My client is looking for enthusiastic and committed people who value attention to detail, strive for perfection, and are responsive to the client's needs. You should hold an RTPI accredited degree with public or private sector planning experience. In addition, you should be a good team player, a strong communicator and hold a full UK driving licence.
