Are you a recently qualified Graduate Town Planner seeking your first planning role?
Do you hold planning experience elsewhere and want to return to Cardiff?
Are you passionate about planning and the built environment and want to get your teeth stuck into a mixture of projects with a variety of clients?

Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-respected planning consultancy in Cardiff on the hire of a Graduate Town Planner.
The company are looking for enthusiastic and committed people who value attention to detail, strive for perfection, and are responsive to the client's needs!
If you are looking for an opportunity that is rewarding in terms of a very diverse and high profile workload, across all sectors in both Wales and England then this is the ideal opportunity for you.
You will support the company provide the following services to their clients:
-Site search & appraisal (Identifying and assessing sites for new developments).
-Planning applications & appeals.
-Development plan monitoring & representations.
-Retail. Capacity and impact assessments, and provision of strategic advice.
-Urban regeneration (Advising on the delivery of major mixed use projects for developers and landowners).
-Environmental impact assessment.
-Development & design briefs.
-S.106 Negotiation.
-Community engagement.
Job requirements
-RTPI accredited degree or similar
-Ideally 1-2 years of planning experience (public or private sector).
-Committed and ambitious.
-Good team player.
-Strong communicator.
-Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
