In this role you will act as a case officer and you will make professional recommendations on planning applications and related matters.  You will contribute towards the efficient delivery of the Development Control Service.

Ideally you will be a Student, Associate, Licentiate or Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.  You will have experience of development management within a local authority and ideally experience in dealing with appeals and enforcement.

The successful candidate for both posts will have 

  • excellent IT, report writing, presentation, interpersonal and negotiating skills;
  • commitment/enthusiasm and ability to work to strict deadlines;
  • a current valid driving licence and access to a vehicle that is available for work purposes.
