Vivid are exclusively working with a local authority based in the Hampshire to find a Senior Planning Officer to join their busy Development Management team. The authority are looking for someone to join their team for an initial 3-6 month contract, although this is likely to extend. This position has been deemed outside of IR35.

The role will involve dealing with a mixed caseload of applications varying from small minor to medium size major apps. The client are willing to be flexible with the caseload depending on the candidates experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Planning experience working in a local authority
  • Experience of dealing with applications up to small major
  • A driving licence and access to a car for site visits.

For the role the authority can offer rates of £28-38p/h OUTSIDE IR35.

They are also willing to negotiate a very flexible working situation.
