Enforcement Officer

Summary

A Local Authority based in the Norfolk area are currently recruiting for a Enforcement Officer to join their busy team on a contract basis for 6 months, you will be brought into the team to work on the standard cases as the permanent officers focus will be shifted to the Development Management to handle a high workload.

About the Job

As the interim Enforcement Officer at the council you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases within the team and go out on site visits around the Norfolk area. You will also be expected to manage your own caseload write detailed reports.

The Ideal Candidate and requirements

To be successful for this role you will need to have sufficient experience of contributing to planning Enforcement and to have worked in a similar position.

If you have experience working on planning software such as IDOX or Uniform this will be desirable

Salary Range and Working Arrangements

As the interim Enforcement Officer at the council you will receive an hourly rate of between £30-£35/h depending on experience.

This contract is a full time position of 37 hours per week with the council offering up to 2 days a week home working.

You will also have access to a work laptop and free parking.
