Heritage Consultant

As an ACIFA Charted heritage consultant, you will be Bachelor's Degree qualified in Archaeology or related subject, you will be working for one of the UK's leading consultancy business, working alongside planners, engineers, designers, consultants and technical specialists across a wide spectrum of interrelated and synergistic disciplines.

As part of a self-motivated, creative, innovative, pragmatic, and multi-cultural Historic Environment team you will be given the chance to be involved in some of the UK's most prestigious and intricate infrastructure schemes up and down the country. Including projects within the road, rail, infrastructure, housing and energy sectors where you will be responsible for providing archaeological and cultural heritage advice, assessments and mitigation design and management.

Working as part of a team of highly regarded industry professionals, you will form part of the wider environmental and sustainability team to provide a market leading service to all clients, where you may be required occasionally to travel to other offices and sites.

As an experienced Heritage consultant, demonstrating you're a confident user of GIS and dataset manipulation skills will be second nature to you.

Your experience of working on large scale multi-disciplinary projects, while contributing / designing archaeological mitigation while undertaking consultations with consultees such as, Local Planning Authority Archaeologists and Conservation Officers will shine through in your day to day interactions.
