We are looking for a chartered Town Planner with experience of economic and infrastructure planning and a track record of delivery to join our busy Enterprise, Housing and Planning Policy Team helping to deliver on the Council’s important place-shaping agenda.  Home to over 250 communities as well as the internationally famous town of Stratford-upon-Avon, ensuring that infrastructure is delivered to support growth is critical to achieving the continued success of this large rural District at the heart of England. 

This new post will lead on the full range of enterprise activities including employment, retail and tourism policy and strategy, regeneration as well as the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and co-ordination of the Council’s Infrastructure Delivery Plan.  An important aspect of the role will be working proactively with infrastructure partners and other authorities across the region to ensure that our infrastructure needs are met.  The post will also oversee the management of Venture House, the Council’s business centre that delivers an exciting programme of business support and networking events targeted at entrepreneurs and small businesses.
