Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with one of the UK's most successful strategic land promoters who are looking to appoint an experienced and knowledgeable Town/Senior Planner to join the highly experienced team.
Our client holds extensive experience in the market and leads residential promotion throughout the UK with a focus on the early delivery of housing sites. The role will involve managing a portfolio of sites to promote through the local plan process. Key tasks include;
-Analysing and responding to local plans and evidence-based documents
-Commissioning primary research for the preparation of detailed representations and appearing at Examinations in Public to give evidence.
The successful candidate will be hard-working, enthusiastic and self-motivated. You will also have experience of providing evidence at Examination and/or Inquiry. The ability to thrive in a team environment, adapt and communicate findings to different audiences is crucial.
Support and training will be provided to allow candidates the opportunity to progress their careers within the company. This role is a permanent position, based in Manchester, although you will have to work flexibly when attending Examinations. It is ideally suited to Planners looking to develop their careers in an established strategic land company.
