Planning Officer

Vivid are working with a local authority based in the West Midlands to find a Planning Officer to join their busy Development Management team. The authority are looking for someone to join their team for an initial 3-6 month contract, although this is likely to extend. 

The role will mainly to help with the authority's caseload of householder, minor and other applications.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working as a Planning Officer within a local authority
  • Experience of dealing with applications of householder and minor applications.
  • A driving licence and access to a car for site visits.

For the role the authority can offer rates of £25-32p/h

They are also willing to negotiate a very flexible working situation.
