'An independent and respected central London Planning Consultancy is looking to appoint an exceptional Town Planner to the existing highly talented Planning team'
The company
My client specialises in securing consents for both small and large scale, often complex and/or controversial retail, residential, commercial and leisure development schemes across the UK. They provide a range of planning services including applications, assessments, appeals, and advice.
They have a forward strategy to grow over the next five years to capitalise on the expansion within the housing and mixed use sector, consolidating their position as a leading retail expert and secure increasingly high complexity instructions to re-affirms the firm's brand and status in the London market.
The team
The Planning team comprises of several highly experienced Directors, Senior Planners & Planners offering an experienced environment to support to progress the career of the successful Town Planner. There is a highly capable support team in place to minimize admin allowing you to maximize your time on direct planning related work.
The role
You will work on a diverse workload with responsibility for managing clients across the Residential, Retail, Commercial and Mixed-Use sectors. You will offer an effective contribution to the development of strategies, negotiate with LPA's and support senior staff members. As you grow in the company the company will release more responsibilities.
The successful Planner
The successful Planner will ideally hold 1-3 years experience (ideally including private sector experience). A strong understanding of Planning law, the framework, local planning policy are required along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The reward
My client offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package that includes a discretional bonus, generous annual leave allowance, and relocation packages (expected salary range of £30,000 - £35,000 p/a). The MD is ready to meet with interested Planners immediately.
