Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a national multi-disciplinary Consultancy who, as part of a wider recruitment drive is looking to recruit an Associate Town Planner (alongside a Senior Town Planner) to join their team in London (Nearest stations: Kings Cross, Farringdon & Angel).
As an Associate Planner, you will be given the opportunity to lead on projects and engage in a range of development plan, policy and development management work. This will include but is not limited to, undertaking planning appraisals, coordinating planning applications, preparing local plan representations, site promotion and appeals, EiP and public inquiry work.
You will work under the supervision of senior staff but will also be given the opportunity to lead on projects, managing external sub-consultants and junior members of staff. You will also be offered a high degree of client interface and the opportunity to take part in marketing and business development activities.
In order to apply
Candidates should have 5-10 year's experience, and ideally, this will include private sector experience. Candidates should be self-motivated, willing to build up their own client base and make a real contribution to the growth of the company. Experience in managing projects and client development is important.
