Based at our offices in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Technician to join our recently restructured Development Team. You will report to the Planning Support Team Leader and play a key role in the delivery of quality Planning Services.

Your duties will include:

• Ensuring that applications are technically accurate and fit for appraisal
• Ensuring that the correct fees for services are relayed
• Interpreting local and national planning policy in the delivery of larger home extensions
• The ability to offer interested parties an interpretation of the legislation surrounding permitted development rights
• The receipt of and monitoring of appeal information for submission to the Planning Inspectorate
• Extrapolating land search data for enquirers

You must therefore have a minimum of two years in a planning related discipline or similar technical specialism and be able to demonstrate excellent digital workflow practices and an understanding of Data Protection regulations and compliance.
