Historic Building & Conservation Officer

Carrington West’s Town Planning Recruitment Team are assisting their local authority client based in the East Midlands in their search for an experienced Senior Historic Building & Conservation Officer ( Town Planning ) to join their Planning Department on an initial 6 month period, however this will extend on a rolling basis.

Responsibilities Job Purpose

To provide specialist consultancy advice and pro-actively manages, promotes and delivers high quality Urban Design and conserves and enhances the District’s important historic and built assets.

• To provide specialist advice for complex and major pre-application, planning applications and appeals as well as the Council’s growth sites.

• To prepare policy and guidance and deliver projects which pro-actively manage and enhance our important historic and built assets and deliver high quality urban design

• To provide advice that adds value, is balanced and outcome focused.

Hourly Rate : £33 - £45 per hour Umbrella
