Would you like to be working with one of the UK's largest Planning & Design consultancies in central London on an interesting and varied portfolio of projects?
Our client is currently on the lookout for a Town Planner to join their office in London and play an active part in running projects across a host of sectors including Residential, Mixed Use, Hotel, Office and Strategic Land. Nearest stations include Oxford Circus & Covent Garden.
Our client's London office boasts a friendly and busy atmosphere. The established London Planning team has an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic and ambitious experienced Planner to work on a broad range of projects, including large scale mixed-use schemes. The team are involved in some of the capital's largest and most important projects and has a significant role to play in helping to deliver regeneration and new development across many parts of London.
Key responsibilities of the role
-Work as part of a team on large scale regeneration projects
-Assist with coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams
-Assist with major applications (including attending meetings, preparing meeting minutes, drafting planning statements, public consultations, etc)
-Prepare, submit and negotiate small/medium sized planning applications
-Conduct research and site appraisals on projects
-Assist with project tenders and
-Draft policy representations
Job requirements
-MRTPI or working towards it
-Have strong planning experience, ideally within London (2+ years)
-Be commercially minded
-Are committed and have an eye for detail
-Experience of managing your own time and workload
-Have strong communication skills, both written and oral
-Hold a full UK driving licence
-Consultancy experience (beneficial)
-Experience of or an interest in business development/networking
