MRTPI Town Planner

East Cambridgeshire

£25,000 to £35,000 p/a (depending on experience) + ongoing support and benefits package



Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with an independent planning consultancy who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Town Planner to become part of their busy and growing team in East Cambridgeshire.

This is a fantastic new opportunity that has presented with a rapidly expanding company which is due to the influx of exciting projects in the Residential, Commercial, and Rural schemes. However, in addition, you will also work on Industrial, Education, Mixed Use and Leisure projects offering an excellent variety of experience. Current projects include exciting large scale developments of 2000 and 4000 unit mixed-use schemes!

You will work with the existing team advising public and private sector clients through a number of services which includes;

-Development Plan promotions

-Planning applications

-Community engagement

-Appeals

-Examinations in Public



Job requirements

You will be a Town Planner with 2-5 year's experience which can come from either the public or private sector (however private sector experience is desirable). You should be chartered with the RTPI and be passionate about Planning. You will be a highly motivated individual, with strong ambitions and leadership skills. The successful candidate should have extensive knowledge and understanding of the UK Planning Process.
