Torridge District Council are looking to make an appointment to its Planning Policy Team, which depending on experience could be as a Graduate Planner or Planning Officer. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join the team at an exciting time, as the work focus is directed  to securing the successful implementation of a newly adopted joint Local Plan.

As part of a small team, the post holder will have the opportunity to develop their skills and experience, getting involved with a variety of work and projects; ranging from the preparation of supplementary guidance, assisting with policy research and development, monitoring and neighbourhood planning.

 We are looking for a motivated team player with good time management, communication and IT skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines. You should have excellent written and numeric skills with a degree in planning or relevant subject.
