We are looking for a literate and numerate individual with initiative, who works well both collaboratively and alone.   We would ideally wish to appoint someone with a planning qualification and/or relevant experience, but would also like to hear from those who have an interest in planning issues, and who hold a relevant degree or can demonstrate equivalent capability.  (Support for study to gain a professionally recognised planning qualification may be available.)

Town centre regeneration, cutting edge industries, meeting housing needs and protected habitats are just a few of the varied issues the team deals with. You will help us by undertaking research, drafting documents, and explaining complex issues to a variety of audiences.  You will also have an active role in strategic projects and in partnerships with a wide range of organisations. 

The area has relatively modest housing costs, a stunning coastline and the Broads to enjoy, and is within easy reach of the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Norwich.
