Principal Information and Monitoring Officer
About the role
An opportunity has arisen within the Spatial and Transport Planning service for a team leader with demonstrable practical experience of managing Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), Section 106 and planning information systems.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of developer contributions and the ability to apply knowledge of the relevant legislation to a wide range of developments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring Richmond and Wandsworth Councils mitigate the impacts of development and capture the funding required to deliver infrastructure to meet local needs. You will take the lead and coach team members to ensure effective negotiation and resolution of complex issues in order to deliver high quality outcomes that reflect corporate objectives.
With responsibility for planning information, the successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Local Plan evidence base requirements and the technical expertise required to manage and interpret complex datasets to inform planning policy formulation. You will be positive in your approach, proactive and experienced in successfully identifying and introducing changes designed to improve service delivery and generate efficiencies.
