Town Planner - Boutique Consultancy

Our client is one of the most innovative, creative and exciting planning consultancies in London. Our client boasts an excellent network and great track record delivering for clients including, PRS and Build to Rent Developers, Co-living schemes and a mix of public and private clients mostly within the M25.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a small growing team and get hands on and client facing from the get go, with great levels of responsibility for your level.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing planning applications through the development process
• Giving pre-application advice to clients
• Writing reports and site appraisals
• Attending meetings with clients
• Participating in public consultation events
• Keeping up to date with the latest local plans and policy documents

You will have a strong academic background including RTPI accredited qualification or working towards it. A minimum of 18 months professional work experience gained in a private sector, consultancy environment, or equivalent is necessary. Ideally you will be chartered but if you are still working towards it, they have an excellent support system and training scheme to get you through it
