I'm currently working with a Local Authority in East Anglia who are looking for a S106 Officer to join them for an initial 3 month contract, with the likely potential of extension. My client can offer flexible working arrangements, pay rates are dependant on experience and this role is INSIDE IR35.

The Council has an approved Local Plan and will require a partial review early next year. Both roles will support the co-ordination of the work of three local plan specialists, working amongst committee services, policy and communications colleagues.

The client is open to speaking to candidates with various levels of experience - as long as you have experience in dealing with S106.

To be considered for this role you will require a degree in Planning or a relevant subject and Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), RICS). You should also have proven experience working on S106 in the UK and knowledge to hit the ground running with little to no supervision.
