Job Details
I am currently working with one of my longest-standing clients who are seeking interim support on an incredibly exciting development in the area. Your role will have you working as a key member of a Garden Town team, focussed specifically on delivering the proposals for the area. This is an amazing opportunity to help shape and deliver transformational growth within the area. You'll be supporting the process of shaping the parameters of the outline application and will work with developers and the community to prepare masterplans and design codes.
Elements of the post include, but are not limited to:
- Giving pre-application advice
- Dealing with planning application proposals
- Discharging conditions
- Dealing with appeals and other post-decision work.
The planning application proposals will be of significance, complex in nature and raise a range of issues which will require consideration. High levels of customer service, communication and professional judgement will be required. I can provide a more extensive job description upon application.
The rate for this post falls between £50 and £55 p/h, and the council are able to offer flexible/home working once successfully through the interview stage. The contract is likely to run for a significant length of time, with a minimum term of 6 months.
