Senior Planner

Due to an increased work load this Private Consultancy require an experienced Planner to join them for a few months on a part time basis.

You will need to be office based for 3 days of the week, maximum hours 24, however days in the office can be flexible.

Working on some varied projects across residential, regeneration, sport and education with private and corporate clients as well as house builder and developers.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Carrying out planning appraisals

·         Preparing Planning and Design and Access Statements

·         Preparing planning applications for submission

·         Preparing and submitting appeals

·         Appointing/liaising with other consultants

·         Managing project budgets

·         Site Visits

·         Attending meetings (clients, planning, project and committee)

·         Working on public consultation strategies

·         Attending public exhibitions

·         Promotion of strategic land

·         Assisting and potentially leading at Hearings and

·         Assisting at Public Inquiries
