Town Planner | East Midlands | Planning and Development Consultancy
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an established independent planning consultancy situated in the East Midlands, who are looking for a talented and ambitious Town Planner to join their team of planning experts. This consultancy takes pride in the efficient and effective manner of which they operate, whilst at the same time producing exceptional designs and delivering an outstanding level of service.
The successful Senior Town Planner will hold the following experience:
- An MRTPI or equivalent qualification
- At least 2-3years planning experience working within either a private consultancy or local authority (ideally both).
- A strong grounding in development led work and a solid understanding of local and national planning policy.
The role will involve the following duties:
- Managing projects involving planning applications and appeals, providing accurate and efficient advice to clients.
- Investing in the development of a range of sites and projects and assessing sites for development suitability.
- Demonstrating an ability to marshal evidence in support of the planning projects.
- Demonstrating a positive, proactive attitude with the drive to meet client expectations and promote the business through the use of marketing and networking skills.
