A respected Planning & Development Consultancy in Bedford is looking to recruit an Associate Planner to join the team. The successful candidate would join a now established Consultancy in Bedfordshire with a strong reputation for the quality of their advice and results.
Our client works with developers, landowners, homeowners, and organisations. Developments can be single swellings through to much larger schemes (including schemes of several hundred units). Holding offices in Bedford and London our client taps all industries, but with a particular focus on Residential (C3 and C2). Their services cover Planning & Development, Land Sales and Viability Appraisals.
The company has scooped multiple Business and RTPI awards, recognising their processes, results and impact locally as well as nationally. They employ over 15 staff across the business and have an excellent balance of abilities and seniority.
You will join an experienced team and help offer an increasingly diverse range of services to their clients that will include traditional planning consultancy advice, development agency, public consultation, s106 negotiation, and viability work, negotiation between parties to achieve planning success.
In order to apply, you will hold a relevant planning or related degree. You will be chartered with the RTPI and have strong private sector experience. You should be confident, a strong communicator, hold a team player ethic and be able to build rapport with clients easily. Contacts in the market are welcome and business development experience is advantageous.
Salary & Benefits
The company provides a very competitive salary and benefits package (guide of £40,000 - £60,000pa dependant on experience) ensuring you are well rewarded for your hard work.
