If you’ve answered yes to any of the above, then we should talk. We’ve currently got a top role for a Planning Manager to join one of the country’s leading housebuilders in their Wiltshire offices.

The Role

The Planning Manager will join our client’s successful and growing planning team in Malmesbury. This role will have a geographical area operating across the M4 corridor including Wiltshire, Swindon and Oxfordshire. The Planning Manager’s key responsibilities of the role will include;

• Assisting in converting existing land interests into planning consents as well as replacing and adding to the company’s land reserves
• Supporting the Managing Director on the running of the office alongside mentoring junior members of the team
• Leading on numerous major-scale schemes, project managing them from start to finish
• Acting as a key point of contact for the Land team, supporting a diverse range of clients

The Person

The Planning Manager will be imaginative, committed and commercially minded. You’ll be a Chartered member of the RTPI will a strong knowledge of planning in the South West region. The Planning Manager may have a background working for either a developer, consultancy or local authority and have 4+ years’ Development Management experience. You will need to be able to demonstrate competence around development control and have the confidence to work on a diverse portfolio of projects.
