Associate Town Planner
Leeds
£45,000 - £55,000 + Bens
Our client has an urgent need for an Associate Planner to join their Planning team in Leeds. You will be MRTPI qualified with a strong knowledge of the Yorkshire market.
Based on the outskirts of Leeds, our client works with a range of clients from private individuals to major public sector bodies. The company covers all sectors of planning but with a particular focus on Residential, Retail and Rural schemes.
The Associate Planner will be responsible for the delivery of large scale planning applications and to oversee the appeals process when required. You will be an experienced manager, who can motivate and develop members of staff whilst supporting the Directors in generating new business. The Associate Planner will need strong written and verbal communication skills as you will be required to chair client meetings and act as a representative for the company at external events.
The Associate Planner will be;
- Detail conscious/accurate
- Someone who thrives under pressure and can work to tight deadlines
- A team player
- Able to deliver an exceptional level of service to clients at all times
- Presentable and with good presentation skills
- MRTPI
- Experienced at managing multiple projects, often large scale schemes
