Are you an established Planner in London looking for that next step?
Do you have Consultancy experience at Associate / Associate Director level?
Would you like the chance to join the senior management team and have a voice in the strategic changes that are implemented within the business?
My client has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director to join their central London office and play a key role within the business to deliver outstanding projects and further establish the company's profile across the region.
The company offer a fresh and innovative approach to planning and specialise in strategic and policy planning, community planning, urban design, and architecture. They hold multiple offices across the UK and work with public and private sector clients which include local authorities, neighbourhood planning groups, community groups, developers and landowners.
The key responsibilities for the Associate Director role include;
-Support the team to deliver the outstanding pipeline of work
-Identify and help implement service improvements within the company
-You will help organise the day-to-day operations of the office, the team and their project work
-Support and manage the junior members of the team
-Provide key technical planning input into assigned and delegated projects across the company
-Support the Directors and MD as required.
-Assist in business development which includes winning new work, clients and projects
In order to apply
You should have excellent communication skills, substantial consultancy experience, a positive approach to planning + design and experience of working closely with clients to deliver their projects. The successful candidate will have experience in managing and coaching junior members of staff and it would be beneficial, but not essential if you have experience of winning new business.

On top of receiving a competitive starting salary (guided between £45,000 - £57,000pa), you will also receive a discretional bonus, healthcare plan, company pension, flexible working and an annual study trip (Europe in 2017 & 2018!).
