We are looking for an ambitious candidate to lead our Policy & Place team.  You will be leading our friendly and dedicated multi-disciplinary team as it progresses an ambitious programme of policy and strategy development.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership qualities, be able to motivate others, have a strong customer focus and be committed to driving forward continuous service improvements.

You will be joining a council that has ambitious plans to deliver increased levels of new homes and jobs whilst ensuring that we respect our high quality built and natural environment.  The Policy & Place team that the successful candidate will lead has a key role to play in delivering these ambitions taking forward the Local Plan to adoption and bringing forward a New Settlement DPD that will shape the delivery of 3,000 new homes in the district.
