Principal CIL Collections Officer

Introduction

Our client a busy London Local Authority is looking for a Principal CIL Collections Officer. 

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

To measure and confirm Gross Internal Areas for planning drawings in relation to CIL collection
To calculate CIL liabilities and relief amounts for all scales of development including major applications
To issue CIL Liability and Demand Notices utilising Exacom software
To conduct site visits to gather evidence to investigate development commencement dates
To liaise with developers for compliance of the CIL Regulations 2010
To advise Development Management colleagues on all CIL matters
To represent the Council's interests at any planning appeals or other legal processes related to CIL with support from the Council's Infrastructure Planning and Legal Teams
