Job Details
My client has an exciting opportunity for an RTPI qualified planner at Associate or Partner level to join their growing Oxford team. As well as rewarding you through remuneration, the company will give you the chance to really stand out and make your mark.
The company's planning team is among the largest in the UK. Their work in multidisciplinary teams gives us unparalleled insight into the dynamics of commercial, residential and rural development. As a result, they take very much a commercial view of all aspects of the planning process.
As part of the expanding Oxford Planning team, you will be working on a range of projects; advising on a number of allocations and housing schemes within the golden triangle. As a result, there will be a heavy focus on the residential aspect, as well as the chance to become involved with large infrastructure projects and some College work, which you will work hand-in-hand with the Project Management team on.
You would expect you to be:
- Providing commercial and specific planning advice
- Proactively managing engagement with the local planning authority and other stakeholders, in a client care role
- Providing robust evidence to support the planning case
- Preparing high quality planning submissions
- Leading on the management of a range of projects
- Representing the clients' commercial interests throughout the planning process
- Actively engaging in business development
- Developing more junior members of the team through motivating and coaching
Benefits
Our client offers a competitive salary package, and the chance to benefit from the success of the business through the profit share schemes. The company provides an extensive benefits package that features pension, private healthcare, life insurance and car allowance/company car, and performance pay.
