Job Details
This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a very important part of an energetic team of Service Managers. You will lead the Council’s high achieving Strategic and Local Planning Service with recent successes including:
- the adoption of the Leicester and Leicester Strategic Growth.
- Plan the adoption of the Harborough Local Plan 2011 - 2031.
- the making of over 20 Neighbourhood Plans across the District.
- the adoption of a comprehensive Playing Pitch Strategy.
As a strong leader, you will motivate your team to ensure delivery of exceptional results and your outstanding communication skills will assist you in building strong relationships with key colleagues, partners and stakeholders. In partnership with our communities you will take lead responsibility for supporting the preparation of neighbourhood plans across the District. You will also be responsible for a comprehensive built facility Sport and Recreation Strategy.
