Planning Obligation Officer - S106 & CIL



*23 - 25 per hour* *Long term contract*



Are you an experienced officer with knowledge of Town Planning? Our client are a large local authority based in East London who are currently looking for a S106 Monitoring officer to work in the team on an ongoing contract basis



DUTIES
  • You will provide day to day management of S106 legal agreements including related advice requests and correspondence to agreed and identifiable timescales. To independently manage the legal agreements to ensure that the provisions within them are enacted at the correct time and to manage incoming funding contributions and its allocation and associated spend.
  • Carry out day to day organisational and administrative tasks to monitor S106 Agreements, including the application of planning obligations when due, in particular ensuring that payments are collected on time.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

A good knowledge of planning legislation with more detailed up to date knowledge of that relating to Section 106 & CIL agreements and their application to development

Knowledge of Excel and Access and ability to use a wide range of computer software to collate, query, analyse, interpret and present data.

Have a methodical approach to work with high levels of accuracy and ability to pay meticulous attention to detail.
