A fantastic opportunity has arisen for for an experienced Senior or Associate Town Planner to join one of London's most respected consultancies, to work on a variety of nationally significant infrastructure and energy projects.
About the role
- Often instructed at the very start of the process, you will assist clients in structuring their teams to successfully deliver DCOs, using experience across a wide range of different projects
- Continue to advise throughout the preparation and submission of the application to examination.
- This ranges from advice on consultation, programme, policy and process to internal governance.
- You will act with a wider team to deliver documents for consultation and can prepare the planning documents which typically accompany DCOs including the Planning Statement, Design and Access Statement, and Consultation Report, as well as providing input to the drafting of the DCO itself. You will frequently support clients during the examination, including at the hearings.
Ideally coming from a Private Sector background, you will have a track record in similar projects as well as an RTPI-accredited first or second degree in environmental or town planning.
Full Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or an equivalent professional organisation is preferred.
A Full current driving licence is preferred
