Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-regarded property consultancy in the South East on the appointment of a Town Planner with 2+ years PQE experience.
The company are a regional firm of Estate Agents, Chartered Surveyors and Chartered Planners who provide a diverse range of property related services throughout the South East. The Planning and Development team have extensive knowledge of the UK planning system and offer a tailored approach to meet the needs of each client's project. Clients will be from the public and private sector and projects will be both Rural & Urban in nature.
As a Planner in the team you will help provide in a range of planning and development services that include;
-Planning applications & Permitted development rights
-Appeals & Enforcement
-Lawful development certificates & Development appraisal
-Development and land promotion
-Local & neighbourhood plan representation
-Agricultural occupancy conditions
-Heritage and conservation development
-Environmental impact assessments
About you
You will have a relevant degree and ideally, be a chartered member with the RTPI. Suitable Planners will hold 2+ years planning experience which can come from the public or private sector. You should be ambitious with strong communication and rapport building skills, able to work well within a team and independently to deliver results to clients. Experience or an interest in Rural Planning is advantageous. A full driving licence is required.
