Job Duties:

Role would involve:

  • Meeting regularly at various locations across Hertfordshire to work closely with the Hertfordshire Planning Authorities on Local Plans and planning applications;
  • Maintaining the good working relationships with all of our stakeholders;
  • Supporting the County Council services in the town planning process;
  • Taking a proactive approach to place shaping and enhancing the County Council’s input on strategic development sites.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A professional qualification or equivalent degree;
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude;
  • A clear ability to manage workloads, deadlines and priorities;
  • The ability to take a lead on some of our key projects; and
  • Experience of Local Plans and the planning application process.
