Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience

Due to an increased workload, this growing planning consultancy are looking to appoint an experienced Town Planner to work out of their Chelmsford offices. The team currently deliver expert advice on a range of planning and development issues for their clients and deal with a variety of complex residential developments.

Qualifications and Experience:

Ideally candidates will have a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant planning discipline and be a Chartered Member of the RTPI, candidates working towards this will also be considered. A minimum of two year's post-qualification town planning experience (within the private or public sector) is essential for the role.

Duties:

• Advising on the development potential of land and buildings
• Assisting with the preparation of planning applications and appeals for a variety of residential, mixed use and commercial developments
• Providing policy advice and research
• Drafting representations to plan consultations
• Liaising with clients
