Huntingdonshire District Council aims to provide high quality services and this means we need to employ and retain talented and dedicated people.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, flexible and diligent Planning Enforcement Officer to assist us with monitoring, investigating and pursuing breaches of planning regulations throughout the district.  The job will involve scrutinising planning site histories and drawings, carrying out site investigations, dealing with complainants and developers, making reasoned assessments, taking legal action when appropriate and communicating decisions to the parties concerned.

The job is suitable for a wide range of people, especially those with a town planning or investigative background.  Full training and support will be given to the successful candidate.

Situated within the heart of the Cambridge-Peterborough Growth Area, Huntingdonshire is a beautiful district that boasts thriving market towns and many attractive villages, each with its own identity. We are a dynamic and progressive Local Authority, and we care about our natural and built environment, our customers and staff.
