Senior Town Planner
Manchester - Specialist Planning Consultancy
£35,000 to £50,000

Penguin Recruitment is currently supporting a specialist Town Planning Consultancy who are actively seeking a Senior Town Planner to join their Manchester team. You will get to work on a number of key projects that will cover a wide portfolio of planning including Housing, EIA and Re-Development. Joining an existing team you will get to work in conjunction with the RTPI and also have the opportunity to act as a mentor to other members of the team.
The role will involve a variety of work including negotiating planning consents, handling all areas of planning appeals as well as research and full site appraisals. All work as mentioned will be in line with the RTPI and based on the complexity of the project you will also act as the primary point of contact to the client. Work will cover both the public and the private sector.
To apply you be currently working within the private sector but experience from the Local Authority will also be considered as they can offer a variety of work. You will either be holding or be working towards your full RTPI membership and ideally be able to drive in order to get to a site.
