Senior Planner - Associate | Cardiff | Planning & Development



Our client are a highly established planning practice who are seeking an experienced Town Planner to join the team.

This dynamic, highly established firm have an excellent reputation within the South Wales sector, but work nationally on a wide range of projects across the UK. They currently specialise in providing expert planning assistance across the residential, commercial, mixed use, health, leisure, and environmental sectors.

Due to a fast paced period of growth, this firm require assistance on a range of projects, and so are seeking either an individual ranging from Senior Planner to Associate level to join the team. However, strong Planners with experience independently on a range of applications are also welcome to apply.

The Role:

Working alongside the current Planning Director, the successful Town Planner will help to take the lead on a range of planning applications and appeals, alongside assessing sites for development suitability, drafting Development Plan Representations, and offering advice to a range of housebuilder and developer clients within the region.



In order to apply for the role, you must:

Hold an RTPI Accredited qualification and an MSc in a relevant planning discipline. You will hold between 1-10 years' experience working within the planning sector, ideally on a range of residential or development schemes. You will also have a proven track record of assisting in business development, and will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
