Graduate Planning Researcher

Are you looking for your first role in Planning and Development, having gained some experience, or a few months under the belt but the firm isn’t for you? I have been asked to find the next rising star for my client based in Central London.

A top registered provider of affordable housing are looking to bring in a new team member to join their growing team. The company have an exceptional reputation in providing exceptional affordable housing and have work flying through the door. The analyst team are keen to find someone to join them who is ready to take on a challenge to learn quickly, be in front of clients after a short amount of time but have the support around them that they will need in this dynamic role.

The role will involve researching the plethora of planning permissions around the country and then analysing that data to be able to inform the analyst team on what developments to target for affordable housing. You will also be assisting the team on residential development research projects

You need not have much experience if any, but up to 6 months in a planning or property consultancy would be ideal. What is important to the client is commercial awareness, a drive to be successful and a keen eye for detail. As this is a research role you will need to be proficient in Excel.

My client is keen for someone to join as soon as possible and interview in the next couple of weeks, so if you are awaiting graduation this September, unfortunately this role will not be for you, but do get in touch towards the end of your course

The role will be suited to someone who can learn on the job, is confident once given a task and relevant guidance and will need to be a trusted pair of hands as things progress as you will progress to work on

Sound like you? Please apply here, or give me (Joe) a call on 0203 056 0291 at any time. My client is looking to get the right person on board ASAP so please do contact me as soon as you can.

(I will be meeting all candidates for this role within the next two weeks – so if you’re able to state availability to meet at our Cannon St office, I can respond quickly)

If you do not hear anything back within one week, please assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion, but I will retain your details for future roles.
