Planner / Senior Planners - Norwich

Lewis Davey is looking to recruit new team members to our client’s highly successful Town Planning team. The positions available are Planning Assistant, Planning Consultant and Senior Planning Consultant.

Our client has an outstanding track record for tacking difficult and complex planning issues using practical yet imaginative approaches. They provide the highest quality of advice and their team of highly skilled chartered town planners is able to respond rapidly to their clients’ requirements.

Our client offers a diverse range of planning services including: Site Appraisals and Research, Planning Applications, Strategic Planning and Land Promotion, Planning Appeals, Retail Impact Assessment, Sequential Testing, Planning Inquiry and Expert Witness, Environmental Impact Assessment, Public Consultation and Community Liaison, Enforcement and Lawful Development, Area Action Plans and Development Briefs and Preparation of Planning Strategies.

Candidates for the roles should have had exposure to some of the services above and demonstrate an enthusiasm to progress their career in one of the leading Planning firms in the East of England.

Candidates must have a minimum of a years experience gained either within Local Government or within a Planning Consultancy. You must be able to deal with planning enquiries and deliver planning applications and/or planning policy advice. Candidates near the beginning of their career are encouraged to apply for either the Planning Assistant or Planning Consultant positions and should be on their pathway to chartership, through the licentiate route of the RTPI. In return you will work directly with the senior members of the team and be provided with a variety of projects and all the mentoring required to become MRTPI within the next two years.

Candidates at a Senior Consultant level should be MRTPI and should have gained some experience within private practice. You will be responsible for the technical delivery of planning projects and will have direct liaison with clients.
